Our Inspiration

One Man. One Dream. 100 Cr Trees.

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam — India’s “People’s President” and the Missile Man of India — believed true progress comes only when we grow in harmony with our environment. His dream: 100 crore trees across the country.

If one man could inspire the planting of over 5 million trees — imagine what all of us could do if we come together, as CelebriTrees. This was our inspiration.

With Chennai’s rapid urban developments reducing the city’s tree canopy we believe NOW is the time to start a movement to restore this precious gift from nature.
